When booking your travel to Mexico, we recommend securing your flights to Cancun International Airport (CUN) as soon as possible to ensure the best available rates. Be sure to shop around using various travel sites and set fare alerts to catch the ideal price for your travel dates. Most importantly, a friendly reminder that you must not forget your passport, as it is required for all international travel to Mexico! Please ensure your passport is current and valid for the duration of your stay. Once you have booked your flight, please inform Hotel Esnecia of your arrival time so we can make sure we schedule transportation for you.

We are excited for your arrival and the start of our wedding weekend! We ask that all guests plan to arrive at Hotel Esencia on Thursday September 17th, 2026. Please coordinate your travel plans to accommodate a check-in time of 3:00 PM on this date. If you arrive early, you may hangout in the lobby or at any of the local restaurants if needed. We will be hosting celebratory events all weekend long, and your presence at every occasion is important to us as we celebrate our marriage.

Hotel Esencia is not an all-inclusive resort, but it offers thoughtful touches that make your stay feel effortless. Each morning, a complimentary basket of fresh fruit, pastries, and coffee is delivered to your suite or villa. As well as tea and biscuits in the afternoon. All scheduled events— whether cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, or special food experiences—are provided free of charge. Please let Hotel Esencia know if there are any allergies or dietary restrictions. During the day, any dining or drinks you choose to enjoy at the hotel’s restaurants or bars will simply be added to your room for convenience.

Children are welcome to join us for our wedding weekend; however, we have planned for the main events to be adults-only occasions. We hope this allows all our guests to fully relax and enjoy the celebrations. We understand that some guests may require childcare arrangements, and the venue is equipped to help: Hotel Esencia provides professional babysitting services. If you require assistance with childcare during any of the events, please contact us directly so we can work with you to make suitable arrangements for your family.

As many of our events will take place outdoors, we highly recommend that guests bring along their sunglasses to comfortably enjoy the bright, beautiful weather. Additionally, please be aware that certain festivities will bring us into the sand. We want everyone to be comfortable and fully enjoy the ambiance; feel free to kick off your shoes if needed at any time.

We encourage everyone to capture photos throughout the wedding weekend to remember the celebration! However, when it comes to the ceremony, we kindly ask for your full cooperation in maintaining an "unplugged" environment. No photos or videos are allowed during this time; we want everyone to be fully present in the moment. Our professional photographers will be capturing all the precious moments, and we will happily share these images with you afterward.

Your presence at our destination wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. Given the significant travel required, we are not asking for any wedding gifts or contributions to a registry. Your love, support, and effort to be present are more than enough.
